About Me

Parishmonk
I am an ELCA Lutheran pastor and a Benedictine Oblate. I share many of the concerns of many of my orthodox colleagues concerning the extent to which the ELCA is increasingly listening to the voice of secular culture rather than to scripture and the great tradition of the larger Church. A number of blogs and web sites offer better discussions than I can concerning the history and current drift of the ELCA. This blog is intended to be an effort to share musings which I hope are grounded both in scripture and in the spiritual tradition of the Church I love.
